Debating buying a dehydrator
Specifically this $30 dehydrator. I would use this for things like tofu jerky, but I could also use it to make granolas and soups and such. I don’t know. I’ve never done any oven dehydrating so this would be a totally new thing. Any thoughts or experiences with vegetable/fruit dehydration?

A calm day, mostly spent reading the new Hodgman book or Game of Thrones. Recent world events have made it impossible to avoid politics at dinner and that’s fine. Overall, I feel relaxed, which is all I wanted for Christmas in the first place.

Yeah! All the books on the list are really appealing to me. I’m overwhelmed, but also excited. I’m not sure how many I’ll definitely have to read for my MA, but given enough time I would gladly finish the list.

OccupySFSU Dismantled Last Night
24 hours after the last day of finals, the campus administration and police (no word on if they were CSU or city police, but I assume CSU police) ordered the OccupySFSU camp to disperse. The camp complied, but just in case some 50 cops showed up.
